Hi
I have this Ethernet/Token Ring Router and would like to know howto put the interface TokenRing0/0 up?

Ah days of myu misspent youth!
you need a hub or switch plugged into the token ring port. then a no shut command would do it.
06-06-2013 11:52 AM
Thx, but the token ring hub is already connected to the token ring port from cisco router.
What's clue?
06-06-2013 12:01 PM
what are you plugging the router into? a true hub or a a T/R swtich ?
06-06-2013 12:10 PM
It's a Token Ring Hub.
Btw if I try to open this link that you posted, I get this message:
06-06-2013 12:27 PM
probably contract related, thats why i can see it and you can't.
If you are using just a passive MAU, you will need another station on there if memory serves me correctly.
you have just one station so a ring is not really being established.
Just curious, why are you doing this? T/R has been dead and buried for years.

I don't use MAU, we're using just RJ45 connectors at all our TR interfaces.
I need some data of a very old machine with TR interface.
BTW now it works.
"no shutdown" command on C2600 has solved this problem.
06-13-2013 03:41 PM
occams razor, I should have asked if the interface was configured up.

After "no shutdown" TR interface comes up:
ETHTR#sh interface TokenRing0/0
