HSRP on ISR4K and C8K

I have a question: 

Can the HSRP protocol be configured to work on two different router models (ISR4K and C8K)?

Sure there is no problem at all

You can run hsrp between two different cisco routers even you can run it between cisco router and other vendors router

Technically i do not see any Limitation as such - if both device can exchange information.  that should as per i know (its odd requirement but never tested myself to be honest).

Should work, but insure both routers are running same HSRP version (v1 vs. v2).
