I just want to know that can we achive load sharing and redundancy both, while using HSRP.

Hey Manish,
Yes you can achieve both using HSRP. To achieve load balancing you have to configure MHSRP.

One more thing can we use ip address instead of preempt in this command "standby 1 preempt".
and which series of routers that we can configure it.

Hi Manish,
You have to have to configure standby ip address and it is the whole purpose of HSRP which gives a virtual ip address. So once ip address is configured then you have to configure "preempt" keyword basically reinitiates election process.
So you have to configure something like this
standby 1 ip
standby 1 preempt
