Hi All,
Just want to ask if 4-port serial HWIC-4T is compatible and can be used for the Cisco 2801?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. But I'm still confused if its suitable with the 2801 since other said that HWIC-4T can't be installed on 2801 because HWIC-4T is a replacement for the EOL, EOS NM-4T which is a Network Module (NME). That Cisco 2801 does not have slot for NME and only Cisco 2811 does have slot for NME.
Please confirm.

Per the link below.. yes- supported. Not supported on Cisco 1600, 1700, 2600, 3600, or 3700 Series.

NM-4T is not supported anymore.
The HWIC module can be installed in any 2800 router, as they all have an HWIC slot.
If you want to install a Network Module, then you need 2811/2821.
