I have WS-SUP720-3B.

When I turned it on, it was continuously entered ROMmon mode.

1. So I input command "dir bootflash:" . And there is a sup720 IOS.

2. And I was manually inputting "boot".

3. It was entry privileged mode.

4. And I did commands "boot system flash sup-bootdisk: IOS name" and "write memory". (Also sup-bootflash: )

5. reload.... but it was entry ROMmon mode again.

Hooo..

Why it was entry ROMMON mode continuously?

Please teach me ㅠ_ㅠ

Sounds like configreg could be set to 2142.

Try confreg 2102 and boot.

If there are multiple boot statements, you could be hitting bug CSCin43658

SUP 720: Switch goes to rommon mode

Symptom:

A Sup720 configured with multiple boot statements may boot to ROMMON after it fails to boot
according to the first boot statement. When it fails to boot according to the first statement, it does
not attempt to boot according to the next boot statement in the list and boots to ROMMON.

Workaround:

1. Make the first boot statement valid
2. Upgrade SP ROMMON version to 8.1.3

Hope this helps...

Thanks.

Confreg was already 0x2102.

And I have two IOS image. so I removed one IOS.

After that, I did commands ; boot system flash sup-bootdisk: IOS NAME

maybe... Flash memory was break down?ㅠㅠ

Your configuration seems ok. Now you need to open a TAC case to cisco, bcos you are getting "traceback" logs which is most probably a bug and only TAC can decode it.
