IGX 8420, lost password

IGX 8420 stay off very long time and I lost passwords for IGX. How I can recover password or reset config (like routers).

I am afraid you cannot recover IGX passwords like you would do for routers.

If you are certain that the passwords are lost,

you have to contact TAC and give them remote access to the IGX ,

so that they can help you fix this with a special account available only to them.

If you have another IGX available, and if I remember correctly as it has been a long time, you can take the NPM and install it in another chassis as a second processor. The configuration from the primary NPM, already in the chassis, should overright the configuration.

You would be best to do this on a lab node, if available.
