Hi,
i am getting input errors on Router 3845 Gig 0/0 which is holding 4 Vlans, error are increasing after every 1 minutes. Router gig 0/0 was connected to Switch 3560G Gig 0/24. i changed the port to gig 0/23, changed the LAN cable (cable directly connected to router and switch not patch panel). changed the Duplex to Full on both end. changed the speed to 1000 on both end. but same issue. Duplex and speed was auto/auto on both end but i was still gettig input errors on router gig 0/0. then i changed duplex and speed as mentioned above. there is no errors on switch gig 0/23 and 0/24. the error are olny on router gig 0/0. please help me in this regards. my previous router had same issue therefore i change it with new router.

but how is this possible a router cannot handle more than 20mb
Seriously? You expect a small 2900 router, with GigabitEthernet interface, can handle full-blown Gigabit speed? This means every man-and-his-donkey can just put a cheap 2900 into a MPLS network and expect to push 1 Gbps? Not possible.
If you want to push 1 Gbps, per interface or per chassis, you need to look at a bigger chassis. Cisco is not the only one who do this. Every network gear manufacturer do this practice.

my router is 3845.

my router is 3845.
3845 can't push 1 Gbps per interface or even 1 Gbps per chassis.
Better shape the bandwidth between the switch and the router.
Another easier method is to configure the switch interface to operate in 100 Mbps (Command: speed auto 10 100).
