installing WIC-1ENET

HI,

The software Advisor indicate me the IOS 12.1.27b (IP) for installing a WIC-1ENET in cisco 1750 router.

But the install abort with this message "PQUICC-1-UNKNOWN_WIC: PQUICC(0), WIC card has an unknown ID of 0xFF".

The router has 4M of Flash and 16M of DRAM memory and the show version indicates:

" cisco 1750 (MPC860) processor (revision 0x601) with 12288K/4096K bytes of memory

Processor board ID JAD05060L4Y (2619670584), with hardware revision 3097

M860 processor: part number 0, mask 32 "

Is it necessairy change the router chassis; or a simple upgrad for IOS and Memory; will be compatible for the WIC-1ENET?
