Internet traffic over mpls link problem in cisco 881 router

Hi All,

Actually I recently take a mpls link for connecting two of my branches.

My concern is that can the Internet traffic flow over the MPLS LINK.

and secondly I configure the both branch 881 cisco router and my end to end coneectivity is working fine .

my hub branch have also internet connection and i want internet access on spoke branch also.

my spoke site configuration is as

mpls wan ip ---10.10.10.6/30

default gateway--10.10.10.5/30

lan network --192.168.2.0/24(dhcp pool)

vlan1 --192.168.2.1/24

default router --192.168.2.1

ip route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.10.5 (for hub end lan)

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.10.10.5 (for internet traffic)

my hub site configuration is as

mpls wan ip ---10.10.10.2/30

default gateway--10.10.10.1/30

lan network --192.168.1.0/24(dhcp pool)

vlan1 ---192.168.1.2

default router ---192.168.1.2

ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.10.1 (for hub end lan)

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1 (for internet traffic)

192.168.1.1 is my default gateway for internet it is at my tp link router

please suggest the way so that my spoke can access the internet through mpls link.

Is there any need to apply the routing protocol like rip or ospf on my hub and spoke router to implement for routing between lan and mpls network.

You don't need to use a routing protocol, you just send all traffic from the spoke site to the hub site. But you seem to have done that already with your static routes.

If internet is not working for the spoke site then check -

1) on hub internet router you have a route back to the spoke subnet

2) on hub internet router you have NAT setup for the spoke subnet
