IOS for study

I would like to know whether I can use working router's IOS for study purpose.

If yes please tell me where can I get free tftp s/w?

---If my Understanding is not wrong, using the Production Router for Study purpose, if means you can use but see to that do not write any Configuration.

Perhaps I do not fully understand your queestion. If so please clarify. Cisco does not have any special license for free software for study purposes.

If you are looking for free TFTP software I have used with good success the 3CDaemon software which is available from this link:

I have also heard very good things about the tftpd32 software which is available from this link:

You can check out for 3Com TFTP services from the net and make use of the same..

What kinda study ur gonna do with the IOS ? are you gonna load this up on another box and try doing R&D then make sure that both are same model routers and have same DRAM/FLASH to work with the IOS..
