IOS interfaces still show up at ip int brief

removed some frame relay configurations from a 3640. when issuing the IP INT BRIEF cmd they still show up? also appears in the SH INT DESCRIPTION cmd? do i have to perform a reboot to flush?

When a subinterface is configured, and interface descriptor block (IDB) is defined by the Cisco IOS software. IDBs defined for subinterfaces cannot be changed without a reload of the router. Subinterfaces that are deleted with the no interface command should be shown as deleted when issuing the show ip interface brief command.
