Could any tell why ? mark is appraing in name/status column.Router seems working normally.

You lost the original filename for some reason. You can use the rename command to fix it. IOS doesn't need a correct filename to work correctly.
Note, 'upgradation' in english is 'upgrade'.

Hello Raahi,
verify from sh ver output the exact location of the current running image
Example:
sh ver
System restarted at 06:26:19 MET Fri Oct 3 2008
System image file is "flash:c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-7a.bin"
a question mark may mean a deleted file so take care if you see that the file used to boot is now missing you may need to download it again
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Giuseppe, I think the ISR filesystem don't support deleted files as "?" like the older filesystem with squeeze. My theory is that the OP managed to enter ? as a filename hitting the quoting key before question mark during the copy process.

sh ver shows the uploaded ios file name.

Would be interesting to know how you manage to create the file as the versions that I have prevents use of ? in filenames.
