Hi...
As per my understanding, in Cisco if I set MTU to 1500 that means Layer2 Payload... i.e--- Data+L3 Header--- Excluding Layer 2 Header
If I set IP-MTU, it means Layer3 Payload.... i.e---- Data+TCP/UDP header---Excluding Layer 3 Header...
So if I set IP MTU of an interface to be 1500 bytes will MTU of that inteface be automatically increased i.e--- IP-MTU + Layer Header.. or do I need to increase the MTU as well....
Thanks in advance...
