Hello, I am trying to activate NVI (NAT VIRTUAL INTERFACE) on my CISCO RT1101 - version IOS 16.11 router,
but one command is not available (ip nat source list). I don't know why, since it was released starting with versions 12.3, is it correct?

Cisco IOS is: ir1101-universalk9_npe.16.11.01.SPA.bin
Command not available: ip nat source list ....

Maybe I´m doing something wrong, I don´t know!

Hello

Is there a specific reason as to why you wish to run Domainless nat (NVI) instead of Domain Nat (inside/outside)
Do you want to hairpin or are you running vrf?

Hello,

I did an extensive search on why that feature is left out on the IR1101, and literally could not find one mention of it. It is not there even in the latest release (17.3.1).

Which of course doesn't answer your question...but at least it clarifies that it is not anything you do wrong...
