IP RPF issue

Hi all,

We have some troubles with Remote office connection when using an specific ISP. This ISP his off course not singled-homed and has Reverse Path Forwarding enabled.

I know that provisions for asymmetrical flows (when outbound traffic goes out one link and returns via a different link) need to be designed into the filters on the border routers of the ISP.

Any config example that could help me??

Many Thanks

Alain

Hi, we use RPF in this way:

ip verify unicast source reachable-via rx. In customers who only have one Internet connection (for us).

ip verify unicast source reachable-via any. In customers who only have one Internet connection (one of them for us).

this config must be made it on the customer access router (on the isp).
