Hello:
We just received an IR 829 and we connected the router to AC power adapter and tried to access via console but for some reason we cant get console access and the Power LED is blinking in yellow color, checking the documentation i found this:
Does somebody know more about this issue?
Is there any workaround, how can I get access to the Console?
I tried the USB console cable with another devices and works fine but not with the IR829.

i don't know if you found your answer for the power issue but i got this back form Cisco regarding the power LED blinking yellow
I do have some information regarding the yellow light:
For most of the time, this Yellow Blinking condition is seen because one or more of the Ethernet ports on your IR829
is in administrative un-shut state but there’s no actual link (e.g. cable disconnected or peer port is down etc.)
In order to make it show “Solid Green” ( = Normal System Operation), you need to make sure that the link on each administrative un-shut port is up, or you can put all disconnected ports in administrative shut state.

Had this blinking amber led error and admin shuting down gi range 1-4 ports turned the led´s green. thanks.
