ISR 11000 C1111-8WP cant reset password

Hi, I have large trouble I forgot password and trying to hard reset and following all over console but it does not work.

I turned off router, pressed reset button and keeped it 10s until leds off but after that system said:

and after that again get asking for login from asme crediternal nothing is reseted.

Hello,

have you tried the BREAK key ? You should get a prompt asking you if you want to reset the router to factory defaults. Press BREAK (or Ctrl+Break) within 10 seconds after restarting the router. You need to console into the device (using Putty or HyperTerminal).

try HyperTerm with the settings in the attached picture:

Got unvalid characters in that combination of modulation.

Before hyper term I used Putty.

Maby to test over native pc and direct connection to cisco, but my usb to serial working well.

You then need to power down the rtr once more before you are able to access the router with default settings,

My router is off, evry time test it over trurnin it on from start. It is not usefull now without access

What need to try to do CTRL+Brake or only brake.

Will try on native over windows 7 and old pc over native com port.

Looks you have boot image issue of boot parameter here.

post complete boot process to suggest or advise better.

Hello,

no problem, but marking a question as resolved will accomplish exactly the opposite: you won't get help anymore because people assume that the issue has been resolved.

When you boot the router, just keep pressing Ctrl+Break, for up to 60 seconds. You need to get into ROMMON no matter what.
