ISR 4321 process packets forwarding between sub-interface

hi all;

         i have a problem when i configured the ISR 4321 router with switch catalyst 3650. SW 3650 -----> ISR 4321 via trunk line. In ISR 4321 router, i configured sub-interface for each Vlan in switch 3650. but when i do copy file between each vlans for testing bandwidth. it just gets 100M speed. i know the aggregate throughput of ISR 4321 is 100M. but i need use 1G bandwidth between Vlan in my system. well, do you have any suggestion for this case? do i need to roll-back the old configuration? all vlans will be had a gateway at interface-vlan on Switch 3650, when i have the bandwidth between each vlans is 1G.

   please view and help me. any assistance or comments from us will be appreciate to me.

thank you and a nice day to all

Klein

". . . do you have any suggestion for this case?"

Yes, to suggest what you've already written:

"all vlans will be had a gateway at interface-vlan on Switch 3650, when i have the bandwidth between each vlans is 1G."

(NB: between VLANs, on the same L3 switch, you should have fabric bandwidth, i.e. often much, much more than a gig. I believe your 3650 fabric supports wire-speed routing between all edge ports concurrently.)

Remember, ISRs are marketed (and have the performance [and features]) for WAN links. For LANs, fast routing generally will require either a L3 switch or a "high-end" router, such as the ASR series.

BTW, it's perfectly fine to use a L3 switch for LAN routing and a ISR for WAN routing, in the same network. For branch sites, I've often use a Catalyst 3K for LAN routing while using an ISR for WAN routing.

thank you for your comments. it is so helpful.
