ISR 4331 w/NIM-ES2-8-P

I've installed the NIM module, but I'm not sure how to configure it. Is the NIM supposed to be configured as a separate device? If so how do I do that? If I run a sh int b, I can see the interface ports. Please let me know what information I can provide to resolve my query.

Thank you all for your assistance. After further troubleshooting and research I've found my issue. The issue is with the power supply that came with the 4331 router. The current power supply doesn't support POE.

Again thank you all for your assistance!

Glad to know you able to find the issue, moving forward to fix the issue, appricaited your input.

Hello Todd.

No other device is needed to configure the NIM module.

You just insert it in your ISR router and access the console for the configuration of its ports.

An example of configuring such module on ISR modules is here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/NIM/software/configuration/guide/4_8PortGENIM.html

Which was also shared by balaji above.

Thank you.

Marin
