Just cracked open what I believe to be a new ISR 4400, and wanted to update code to our latest approved version. This was not successful with error message about Not Enough Space on Device. When checking bootflash; I find the following:
7194652672 bytes total (0 bytes free)
Surprised to see this as I have upgraded many 4400s with no challenges. I did find reference on line to 'request software package clean' with no change in the situation...any suggestions?

what is current version of code running - show version, and post dir flash:
If you are running install mode, try cleanup "request platform software package clean" - check the version of code running and run the command - since you run that one if no change,
we need to look what is occupied boot flash: dir flash: or dir bootflash:

Thanks for the responses. A coworker reached out to me and advised to remove some directories from flash to free up space. Found that bootflash:/core had tons of large files.
