I take it this is a bug, but I can't find it!
I suppose should just upgrade the IOS to latest.

Hi Richard
We had this on our ASRs and we turned off NTP on our internet facing devices to avoid it until we upgraded the image it looks very similar coinsidering both Linux based platforms
see this it was a known issue a few months back now I think when we were looking at it effected multiple versions across ASRs and 4331s

Hi Richard,
Check with Cisco OEM that they are providing the replacement for the some platform like ISR 4431. We have did for some customer. Cisco has publish some affected platform with leap hours and providing hardware replacement.

I though the hardware replacements on the 4331s was for the clocking version with the intel chip failing after 18 months if you were running v2 instead if v1 as we have to replace a lot of them globally of them due to this currently on-going , heres the link to check yours anyway but it needs to be under support since before it happened or Cisco wont replace it

Avi is there any link for the hardrware replacement for the leap issue as we just upgarded the software to get around this and id like to know its not related to hardware this issue or if it is whats the catch
