I just pulled an 851 ISR from my client as it was wasn't being used.  Another consultant put in a DLink 601 Router instead.  I would like to put the 851 back in operation for my new client but I can't reset the router.  I tried to do a Break but it didn't work.  I also tried the reset button on the unit it too didn't work.  When connected via the console port this is what comes up when rebooted:

I am aware that the "Password Recovery Functionality is Disabled".  I would like to know is there a way to bypass this.  I don't care if I loose the current configuration as it wasn't being used.  I just want to put this into operation.  I really don't want to tell them that this is a paper weight.

In looking at another post from Dec. 2010, it said there was nothing that can be done.  I'm just hoping that there was something found by now.

Any help would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Rich.

This works.  I've tried it myself.
