I understand that a 1841 can be configured as a NTP server. Just want to understand that is the ISR models, have inbuilt battery, that keeps the clock on, even after power down?
I have configured many 1841 routers and I confirm that they do maintain time over power cycles. To really maintain optimum accurate time they should be configured to lean NTP time from some external NTP server. But if you do not have access to external servers and set the time on the 1841 (and configure the 1841 as ntp master) it will do ok to maintain time through power cycles.
