Can Someone please help me this is my first routing class homework and I'm new to it and have no idea what to do on the packet tracer

Configure the following network and use the 3560 switch for IVR. (inter vlan routing)

Topology:

1) 2 2960;

run 2 cables to each switch for redundancy (all switches are connected to each other forming a triangle and have 2 cables running to each other)

2) 1 3560 Switch (layer 3 switch)

3) 1 2811 Router with serial interface and connect to 3560 switch

4) connect a server directly to the router

5) 4 End devices connected to the 2960 switches (2 end devices on each 2960 switch)

6) create VLAN 100, 200 on Leg A address is 192.168.100.0/26 for VLAN 100;  address for VLAN 200 is 192.168.100.0/26.

7) create VLAN 300, 400 on Leg B.  address is 192.168.100.0/26 and 192.168.100.0/25

configure IVR on 3560, create VLAN 100, 200, 300, 400 and gateway of each VLAN on 3560 switch

9) cable 3560 to router, router to 3560 switch network is 209.165.200.0/26

10) configure OSPF from 3560 to router

11) ping from Leg A to ISP server and from Leg B to Leg A

Hello,

there were numerous mistakes in your configuration, too many to write down to be honest. I have revised the file, take a look at the configs and try to understand how everything works.

The file is saved in Packet Tracer version 8, make sure you have that installed.

Hello @Bunny12375 ,

in the list of requirements there is address overlapping

>>

6) create VLAN 100, 200 on Leg A address is 192.168.100.0/26 for VLAN 100; address for VLAN 200 is 192.168.100.0/26.

7) create VLAN 300, 400 on Leg B. address is 192.168.100.0/26 and 192.168.100.0/25

These cannot be configured on the L3 switch C3560 it will generate an error message you should use different IP subnets

VLAN 100: 192.168.100.0/26

VLAN 200: 192.168.100.64/26

VLAN 300: 192.168.100.128/26

VLAN 400: 192.168.101.0/25

good  home work !

hint: you could use port-channels between switches

Hope to help

Giuseppe

I actually needed to see what you did in packet tracer because I'm so confuse with this assignment

Hello @Bunny12375 ,

I have only pointed out that the subnets need to be different with no overlap.

I did no packet tracer emulation.

Best Regards

Giuseppe

this is what I did but not sure if it's right
