Leased lines vs Frame Relay

My network is consist of 95% of leased lines. The cost is too much. I want to change some of them to Frame Relay where the cost is much more lower. What about security reasons. Is Frame Relay safe as leased lines("man in the middle attact") more or less.

As long you you trust your FR SP, there is no concern more than for leased lines.
The technique of attacks would be the very same as for leased line. That is, someone taps at the telco distribution box in the street, or an insider does that within SP premises.
Once this remote possibility becomes a concern, you turn on IPsec encryption and definitely slam the door into attackers nose.
