Licencing for 8300 routers

Hi All

I am looking to purchase some 8300 routers with no licence limitations and also the HSEC licences.

I have read the below but I'm a little confused.

Will we need to renew the DNA licences after 7 years to keep using the product and will the said features automatically stop after 7 years if not renewed?

If you purchased essential License, then that Router work as expected after 7 years, any additional feature may have compliance issue since you do not have active contract or License with cisco.

Hello!

With catayst routers if you don't extend the DNA licences the router will continue to work as normally but you will loose the functions of SD-WAN + cisco might start throttling your cryto speed based on the tiering.
