line protocol is down

one of my router line protocol is down....if the WAN speed is mismatch will line protocol goes down???? thanks

Yes it happens because it is not abel to negociate with the neighbor.

Hi..

make the following checks

1. check if remote router is powered on or if there is link failure

2. Check encapsulation at both ends.

3. check clock-rate
