Mac Sticky

Hi,

I am trying to secure the ports of my Switched using mac sticky.

interface GigabitEthernet0/17
switchport access vlan 10
switchport mode access
switchport port-security
switchport port-security violation restrict
switchport port-security mac-address sticky
switchport port-security mac-address sticky XXXX.XXXX.XXXX
spanning-tree portfast

It is working but I wanted to know if there is another way to do that as right now each time I have to login to do a shut and no shut to make the port work again when there is another device connected to that port and it is in err-disable.

Is there a way I can make it work with only one mac address and if another mac is detected it blocks the port but if the one mac that is allowed is connected again it works on it own without having to do shut and no shut

Thanks

Tazio

Hi friend

Check using port secuirty aging (with static features)

This make port secuirty after specific time remove mac address (aging) even if it static sticky mac

I dont full sure it work but try it on one port and check
