I have a 3850 stack with five switches. The ports are connected in a ring but I cannot get all five switches to exist in the same power stack. I thought that I could have up to five switches in a power-stack with a ring topology but darned if I can get the switches to agree.
Is the limit really five?

I believe the limit of the power stack is four.

Hi
I agree with Leo, the maximum is 4. If you have 5 switches you can create 2 power stack only.

Thank you. I don't know where I got the notion it was five...
