ME-C6525GT-8S Software Forced Crash while booting

Michael Peel
Level 1
Level 1

I can't get this unit to bootup no matter what I try. I have done some research already without any results. Does anyone recognize the error and possibly let me know what is causing this crash. I think it might be hardware related.

(Here is the initial bootup attempt and then me telling the system to boot to the image as well as running the "stack 50" command, to get some more info.)

Hello Michael,

The switch needs to be replaced as it has undergone some hardware issue.

Reason: The switch is trying to access a memory block which is a valid address but not able to access it. Hence it indicates a hardware fault.

It needs to be replaced.

Regards,

Mohit

Thank You for the reply Mohit.

Would this be something that is fixable if the memory is replaced?

(have not opened it up to see if it has replaceable memory.)

Hello Michael,

I have checked multiple cases with the exact same symptom and the whole switch was replaced.
