Metric can be used between iBGP? whether it works only between eBgp neighbors(between AS)?

If you are referring to MED then yes it works with EBGP only.

there are two metric 

IGP metric and MED Metric 

MED metric usually use between eBGP
IGP metric usually use between iBGP

Do show ip bgp route x.x.x.x
if the route learn from iBGP you will see IGM metric 
if the route learn from eBGP you will see MED metric if config

Although it is typically used for eBGP, the BGP MED works for both iBGP and eBGP.
