Migrating Config to new router w/ different IOS

One of my clients has an older 3745 running IOS 12.3 and we are looking at replacing it with a new 3945 that runs IOS 15.0. This router is also configured with CME. Is it possible to migrate the current 12.3 config to load on the new 15.0 IOS? This will be my first encounter with 15.0 so I don't know what I am up against at this time. I am just hoping I don't have to retype all the ephone config, dial-peers, etc

One way to do it is by copying your current config into a Notepad and pasting it one section at the time into your new router. This way, you can watch the error messages that some commands produce.   Although most commands should be the same, there are going to be some commands that need to be retyped, deleted or does not apply.

Good to hear that at least some of the commands should be the same. The copy/paste seems like the most logical way to go
