Does any one know of a way to monitor changes in bgp routes received from remote routers. I am curios if theis could be done with EEM or something using just available technologies on the router ?
Thanks in advance

You could try debugging ip routing with an acl, then using eem to take whatever action want based on that debug syslog ...
Not sure what you are trying to do or what you mean by "monitor" ... maybe some more details would help as to what you want to accomplish.

I was thinking more along the lines of "eem routing event" . If the routing table changes ... do something
I don't really want to debug , I want this in place at all times , not just to figure out an issue. So monitor in this
instance is monitior routing table for changes ( in particular bgp ) . May be if it can't be done that way eem can check for some snmp oid value.
