More information about rx_no_eop_err in sh controller serial

Hi

I would like more information about this counter "rx_no_eop_err=4534" in sh controller serial

we have some error (CRC) in this interface and this counter increase.

rx_no_eop_err means that when the driver was re-assembling the packet it found that it received a start of packet for the next packet before getting an end of packet for the current, thus the current packet would be considered as an errored packet and the rx_no_eop_err would be incremented. This indicates that there are some physical layer problems that need to be taken care of...Hope this clarifies.
