Hi,
Has anyone configured multicasting routing to work with Symantec Ghost-multicast successfully?
I would appreciate any specific configuration guidelines and tips. Should I use dense-mode, sparse-mode, a combination of both? How should I configure the routers? How should I configure the Layer-2 switches?
Thanks in advance!

see the following links for multicast configuration guides:

PIM sparse-dense may probably be best for your scenario.

It is usually recommended to keep the Ghost server as close as possible to the PCs you want to ghost because of the amount of traffic generated by a PC imaging application. For that reason the default TTL for packets generated by the Ghost server is 1. That being said if you do decide to increase the default TTL and to have your PCs several hops away from the server, you should at least make sure you use sparse mode.
Hope this helps,
