I have been working with RV325 and was able to add another subnet in the Multiple Subnet Table under Setup-> Network without creating a VLAN. Now we are upgrading to RV345 and I am unable to find where I can add another subnet for routing. Can someone point me to where this setting is now in the RV345.
Thank you!

Not sure is this correct, try system configuration --> IP address group

Hello,
I don't think the option is there on the RV345 anymore. You need to add a VLAN in order to add a new subnet (page 53 of the attached guide)...

The problem with that is I have to assign it to a port. With the RV325 I could just define a subnet and if a static with that subnet plugged into any port it would just route. Any thoughts on how I can get that functionality with the 345?

May this is what my understating, I am not a big user of RV3XX Router, but in RV325 when you add a subnet, that goes into default VLAN1 as secondary (i believe due to Limitation they might have added that feature since it can not go more than /24 prefix. in RV345 you can have your own prefix more than /24 (that is the reason i am guessing they have removed that option).
for better clarity you can reach out SMB TAC support.

Ok that makes sense, I will reach out to them, but until I have time to do that, Any idea how do I replicate that functionality with the RV345, by making a secondary subnet on VLAN1?
Thank you!

You can not have a secondary subnet here as i mentioned, instead you can increase the prefix (this need to test, i go by technical details.)
example :
192.168.1.0/23 to cover 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24

That would work but what if I had 192.168.1.0/24 and 10.12.0.0/24. I use one of my routers as a setup station and I just add the location I am setting up to the subnet table in the RV325 so my example is a very common occurrence. If VLANs are the only way I can do that just would like to avoid the extra steps and have the simplicity of just add and go.

I can clearly understand the requirement, even i am in your position i expect the same, but if the product has limitation (not anyone can help, hence TAC case)
by the way, when you add 2 subnets (the different one you mentioned ?) what is the Gateway you configure on the end device?
example: 192.168.1.0/24 VLAN 1 (SVI VLAN 1 configured 192.168.1.1)
if the device in 10.12.0.0/24, what is the gateway here ?
just asking is there an alternative method we can suggest.

typically the gateway is 10.12.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 respectively. I really appreciate the help!

Ok so it automatically adding secondary IP to Interface (the feature is missing in new model) - good feedback thank you.
