Name Based EIGRP

Hello ,

I have a campus with around 20 distribution  4500X using classical EIGRP , i tried to install a new distribution 4500x and configure it using Named Based EIGRP , the neighbor ship didn't come up .

can you answer me if the Router os Switch that work with Classical EIGRP can make the nigbership and exchange routing with another router or switch used name based EIGRP  ?

You should be able to connected classic eigrp to named eigrp

Can you post your eigrp configuration. (classic and named) to verify its setup.

basic example:

R1  -  1.1.1.1/24

Router eigrp 10
no auto-summary
network 1.1.1.1 0.0.0.0

R2 -  1.1.1.2/24

router eigrp STAN
address-family ipv4 unicast autonomous-system 10
network 1.1.1.2 0.0.0.0
