Hello

This is my first post in this forum and I'm not sure this is a right place . So if it isn't I'm sorry .

We have a NCS 540 with 7.1.1 IOS XR . I tried to install extra packages like ospf, mpls, etc. I installed them all . and used them foe a while ( about 10 days ) . after that all active packages turned inactive automatically for no reason !

Hello @mehrzad

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:R3#show install inactive

7 inactive package(s) found:
    ncs540-k9sec-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-isis-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-mpls-te-rsvp-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-mpls-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-mcast-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-mgbl-1.0.0.0-r711
    ncs540-ospf-1.0.0.0-r711

Do you try to (re)activate them again using the 'install activate' command ?

You can contact Cisco TAC for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and provide a resolution.

Best regards
