Hi,
we have firewall along the multicast traffic path. so, do we need to set the firewall rule? anyone have this similar experience? we have a firewall in the middle of multicast traffic. but, not sure if we need to set the new policy to allow multicast in.

Is the firewall running in transparent mode or routed mode?

Hi Vinit,
we are using the checkpoint firewall, and it is working as routed mode. Basically, we need to allow the multicast group range in the firewall rule so multicast traffic can pass through firewall.
but, any difference in transparent mode firewall? do you have any firewall issue when you had multicast?
