Hi
I have a Nexus C93108TC-EX switch.
Software
BIOS: version 07.59
NXOS: version 7.0(3)I4(5)
BIOS compile time: 08/26/2016
NXOS image file is: bootflash:///nxos.7.0.3.I4.5.bin
NXOS compile time: 12/23/2016 16:00:00 [12/24/2016 01:37:34]
In each QSFP slot, I need a 10Gig connection. QSFP port 49 - 54
So I place in each slot a CVR-QSFP-SFP10G module with in a SFP type SFP-10G-LR.
But I can not make a connection.
When I do a show inventory I see the next.
NAME: Ethernet1/49, DESCR: CISCO-DNI
PID: QSFP-Cazadero , VID: CAZADERO-R , SN: DTY195000W4
NAME: Ethernet1/50, DESCR: CISCO-DNI
PID: QSFP-Cazadero , VID: CAZADERO-R , SN: DTY195000FU
NAME: Ethernet1/51, DESCR: CISCO-DNI
PID: QSFP-Cazadero , VID: CAZADERO-R , SN: DTY195000G7
NAME: Ethernet1/53, DESCR: CISCO-DNI
PID: QSFP-Cazadero , VID: CAZADERO-R , SN: DTY195000G4
NAME: Ethernet1/54, DESCR: CISCO-DNI
PID: QSFP-Cazadero , VID: CAZADERO-R , SN: DTY195000FT
But I do not see any SFP !

serial number is DTY195000W4
nominal bitrate is 10000 MBit/sec per channel

cisco extended id number is 155
And when I do a show interface :

Hi
Have You configured the interface et1/49 with the command "speed-group 10000"
This will convert the ports 49-54 into 10G

I helped a customer with similar situation. I asked them to upgrade to 703I6.1. They did and was able to hard code the interface speed to 10G (use the interface command "speed-group 10000" to hard code the interface speed to 10G). NXOS-703I5.1 is the min code level to get this configuration to work.
