Good day all

I have a question, I currently have a stcked pair of 3750's I am replacing with a 93128. I have a separate circuit to the 93128 which is configured as closely to the 3750's as possible.

When I shut the outbound port to the 3750's and no shut the outbound port to the 93128 I have no connectivity. I am just trying to telnet to the 93128

this is the port and telnet config for 3750's

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/49
description ATT-MetroE-To-PTC
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk native vlan 999
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1-500
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate
speed nonegotiate
flowcontrol receive desired

line vty 0 3
access-class telnet-access-in in
exec-timeout 30 5
timeout login response 10

For my 93128 it is

interface Ethernet2/1
description ATT-MetroE-To-PTC
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan 999
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1-500
speed 10000
duplex full

line vty
access-class telnet-access-in in

I try just to telnet to the device, I can easily to the 3750's nothing on the 93128. I just want to check connectivity, I have nothing on the Nexus as of yet

I am not sure on how to configure Telnet on this Nexus 93128, it is the first I have ever seen. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Normally By default, the Telnet server is disabled in NX-OS. You can enable feature telnet and then do copy runn to startup.

But my recommendation is to have SSH configration to take session of the devices.

Check out this link for more informtion ..

Hope it Helps..

Thanks for your help, But I have no connectivity at all, I am actually logged in through hyperterminal on a remote system and I just have no connectivity, I have a call into the circuit provider to see if the circuit is even up. So after I verify that I will post more info
