Nexus physical interface connected to ESXI server

Two Scenerio 

1. Same Broadcast domain between VMs in same ESXi server connected to nexus switch interface --- Frames will reach to physical interface

2. Different Broadcast domain between VMs in same ESXi server connected to nexus switch interface ---packets will reach to physical interface

Are you looking to deploy 2 scenarios - what is the ask here ?

Either case, from nexus to esxi you need build port-channel and allow the VLAN required. and you need to configurure port group inside exsi for your requirement, it is depend what switch you using vSwitch or vdSwitch in the VMWARE environment.
