Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a clarification regarding the Cisco NIM-ES2-8-P module.
I know it's officially described as an 8 port L2 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Switch NIM with PoE/PoE+ support, but I came across references suggesting that some variants may include 6 RJ45 ports and 2 SFP ports. However I haven't been able to find any official documentation or part number differentiating such a version. Can anyone confirm if this configuration exists (6 RJ45 + 2 SFP) ?
Thanks in advance

It is either NIM-ES2-4 (4 port) or NIM-ES2-8 (8 port).
I do not recall a NM/NIM with PoE copper and an optic port. Maybe the EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU?

Hello @Senseiken,
the Cisco NIM-ES2-8-P module has 8 RJ45 ports and there is not variant with SFP ports.
You can check the official Network Interface Modules Data Sheet for these NIM-modules here:
