nm-1fe2w in cisco 2600

Hi,

I have a Cisco 2600 router that is running IOS 12.4. I recently installed an nm-1fe2w to gain another ethernet port. But the enable light does not light and the router does not seem to recognize the card. Is the card incompatible or have I missed something else??

I am afraid it is not supported in 2600s

That is pretty much what I thought. Just trying to get a second ethernet port. How are you supposed to connect a router to a network and connect a switch to the router with one port??

Looking into a 2611 or 2620.
