We are using NX9K peered pairs as IPN switches to interconnect 3 ACI pods. Initially 2 10G connections were used to interconnect pod1 and pod 2 (pod 3 is not relevant for this issue we are facing). So IPN switch 1-pod1 is connected to IPN switch 1-pod2 and IPN switch 2-pod1 is connected to IPN switch2-pod2. As the interfaces were configured for OSPF mpod - point-to-point, the traffic was loadbalanced between the two links. Perfect.
Yesterday I added 2 more 10G links. Those are connected: IPN switch1-pod1 to IPN switch2-pod2 and IPN switch2-pod1 to IPN switch1-pod2. The cost for all 4 links is 20, so the same.
I would have expected the traffic to be loadbalanced over all 4 links, but the first 2 are not carrying any traffic any more, only the new links.
Any ideas were I should start looking.
Thanks.
Chris.
