one adsl network question

hi!

one ADSL module,when get ip address dynamic it can work normal.

but when the line have solid ip ,after thirty minute normal communication .then it disconnect.

so usually what cause this issue.

are there anyone met such question?

Did you get to know a work aruond. I have a similar issue.

There isn't a lot of information to go on here but one question is if your ISP allows static IPs? If not and the DHCP leases are for 30 minutes at a time then it is possible you get disconnected once your ISP sees you have assigned a static IP. Just a wild guess though. If you want to give some more information such as the ISP, router model, ADSL card, and post a snatized config then I am sure someone here will chip in with some information.
