OSPF configuration

Hi all 

I have been studying the ospf routing protocol recently and tried to form a simple network as shown in pic.the issue is that i'm able to ping the area 1 to area 0 but not area 5 which is also directly connected to area 0.pls let me know the mistake,thanks in advance.

Difficult to say from just a diagram so generic advice only. 

 

If you cannot ping then always check the routing tables on each device and make sure there are routes for the IPs you are pinging from and to. 

 

I assume you know all areas should be directly connected to area 0 in OSPF ?

Yeah got the mistake n corrected it,Also to let know i used virtual links conecpt to connect the other areas to the backbone area.Anyway thanks for the reply.
