I have two routers in two seperate AS's.
RtrA advertises multiple routes via eBGP to RtrB.
RtrB will learn these route via eBGP.
There is one route that will be learned via eBGP and also OSPF. I know that the eBGP route will be preferred on this router over the OSPF route. I would like to make sure that OSPF is preferred since I am using the eBGP route as a backup route (if OSPF route is lost).
I just wanted to clarify if I can use the bgp backdoor command for this scenerio and if so where do I configure that command (which router)? Or do I use the distance command on RtrA with and ACL to make sure that only the one route gets its distance modified?
Just looking for the "best" way to do this? Thanks in advance!
