OSPF vs OSPFv2

Hello,

Just wondering if someone can guide me to a document which explains the difference between OSPF and OSPF v2. I am searching the Google currently, but it's not that clear as to what are major differences between the two.

Hey Hassan,

Appreciate the question posted by you. Even I didnt knew the differences. In an attempt to answer, I digged thru RFCs to find the difference.

Pls note that Jeff Doyle vol 1 mentions that, v1 (RFC1131) has never gone beyond the experimental stage.
