OSPF with RIB

  Hi,

Can someone explain me how RIB works in OSPF network and difference b/w Local RIB and Global RIB

Still i've not get clear picture on this topic even i've read few documents

The ospf rib is a representation of all the routes that it's received. After performing computation, it takes the best route from the local rib and puts it into the global routing table. I like to think of it like the BGP table. The path selection process happens before BGP puts the best route in the routing table.
